The Boat

For the Ultimate Deep Sea Sport fishing and Fishing Experience in Grenada. The spacious 33 ft Topaz Sport Fisherman has a large open back deck and comfortably seats 6 persons.
The Marlin Master boasts a state of the art teak fish fighting chair by Scopinich which sits on the back deck. Shower and bathroom facilities are available below deck. The kitchen and dining area includes a stove top, refrigerator and microwave. The cabin is air conditioned with teak floors.
The Captain
Captain Richard is a local Grenadian who is extremely knowledgeable about deep sea fishing and knows the best spots to find the fish. He specializes in the use of Hawaiian style skirted lures to trigger aggressive bites from pelagic fish.
Grenada
Marlin Master offers a premiere deep sea fishing experience un-paralleled in the Caribbean. Grenada is known in the South Caribbean for its wide variety of fish species especially Billfish such as Sailfish, Blue and White Marlin. Grenada is one of the few islands in the Caribbean where it is still possible to land the illusive “Grand Slam” by catching a Blue Marlin, a White Marlin, and a Sailfish in the same day.

Deep Sea Fishing Charters
Half Day Trip
Grenada is surrounded by a large continental shelf which drops off dramatically into the deep. The shorter Half Day (4hr) trip targets the fish that prowl on the edge of the continental shelf. Deep sea trolling techniques are employed to target fish species such as Wahoo, Black Fin Tuna and Barracuda.
Full Day Trip
The Gulf Stream runs very close to Grenada and the longer Full Day (8hr) trip targets the larger pelagic species that swim in this body of water such as Blue Marlin, Sailfish, Yellowfin Tuna and Mahi Mahi. Deep sea trolling techniques around underwater structures are employed.

Fishing with us
SafetySafety is the number one priority on the Marlin Master. This is accomplished by employing redundancy where possible such as having two separate navigation systems and two separate VHF radios. In addition to the standard safety equipment, the Marlin Master carries an Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacon, EPIRB.
Angler QualificationsNone, no prior fishing experience necessary. All fishing equipment provided.
Fishing TechniquesFishing Techniques include deep sea trolling of both artificial and natural baits.
Snorkeling and Fishing combined
Also offering a combined snorkeling and fishing trip. Snorkel for the first hour in our underwater sculpture park then head out on either our half or full day fishing trip. Please contact us for availability and pricing.

The Experience
What you're going to find
Blue Marlin
Known for putting up a tremendous fight when hooked, these rare marine monsters are the holy grail for sport fishers. Once a marlin takes your bait, you had better be prepared for the fight of your life. You also get to see a fantastic aerial display as the fish attempts to escape. They will not be caught easily and with their weight, can put a fight like no other. The strikingly beautiful blue marlin is the largest of the Atlantic marlins and one of the biggest fish in the world.
White Marlin
White marlin are mid-sized billfish with a bill that is round in cross section, and distinctly forked caudal fin but when hooked. They will leap into the air as they fight you, a perfect opportunity for them to getaway as some fisherman are in awe with the beauty of this fish soaring through the air. What ever you do, be prepared for a fight! One of the most noticeable features of white marlin is the dorsal fin, which extends along the majority of the dorsal side.
Sailfish
These powerful, streamlined beasts can grow to more than 10 feet (3 meters) and weigh up to 220 pounds (100 kilograms). When hooked, they will fight vigorously, leaping and diving repeatedly, and sometimes taking hours to land. They are blue to gray in color with white underbellies. They get their name from their spectacular dorsal fin that stretches nearly the length of their body and is much higher than their bodies are thick.
